IANTD - Deep Diver
Ever wondered what technical diving is all about?
The IANTD deep diver course is designed to provide responsible training for divers who plan to dive to a maximum of 39msw on air. The deep diver programme trains divers in skills, performance, theory and planning of deep dives. Divers are qualified to a maximum depth of 39msw. We recommend that divers look at the Advanced Nitrox and Advanced Recreational Trimix course if they are planning on diving beyond 30 msw.
The following skills are taught
1. Swim in full underwater equipment for 5 minutes
2. Calculate RMV for gas consumed during a 10 minute swim
