PADI Open Water Suba Diver
Your first step into the mystical underwater world. You have seen it on TV in programs like Discovery Channel and also in magazines. Is it difficult? absolutly not, as long as you follow the training a procedures given by your instructor. Do this and you too could experience the wounders hidden beneath the water.
The PADI open water is usually a 6 week course (one evening per week and weekend where you will prove you have learnt all the neccessary skills). On completion of the course you will be qualified to dive any where in the world in conditions equal to or better than those in which your were trained to a maximum depth of 18m (12m for junior divers) without Instructor supervision.
Using the PADI materials (PADI Open Water Diver Manual and the DVD) and the comfort of you own home you will progress and absorb the bulk of the required material in a time that suits you. This knowledge is then reviewed and reinforced in a classroom where the instructor continues the knowledge development and move into the pool for some practical skills.
